It was Mark's 31st birthday today so we went into town and celebrated with some friends over a 4 hour brunch! We went to Nachrichtentreff with Luke, Amanda, Ian , Sylvi and their friends who are visiting from the UK. I love the brunch there. You get the typical bacon and eggs, but they also have salads, delicious pastries, a chocolate fountain and lots of yummy food. We basically grazed for hours while chatting and generally having a pleasant time.
Afterwards, Ian and Sylvi went to Heidelberg, so Luke and Mark parked themselves at the Ratskeller (beer house) and Amanda and I went shopping. I bought Mark some essential tea supplies for his birthday, as well as a 'Make your own dinosaur' and some Pirate mints!
Week 33
Bean now measures approximately 17 inches from head to toe. She has been getting ready for birth by turning upside-down - her head is now pointing down. Her skull is still quite pliable and not completely joined, but the bones in the rest of her body are hardening. Also, Beans skin is gradually becoming less red and wrinkled.
13 women on my baby board have now given birth - they were all due in May!!
