I'm standing in the cafeteria watching my kids have lunch and all of a sudden the HR lady literally runs up to me and shouts 'YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THE BUILDING RIGHT NOW!'. At his point I'm wondering if she's either mad or joking. She said she'd only just found out I am pregnant (she's been away) and told me it's forbidden for me to work until I have a pregnancy blood test! I need one to show I am immunised against rubella and other nasty diseases children carry. Turns out I can sue the school if I catch anything and it harms the baby...who knew?
So I am now on leave until my results come in, which may be Tuesday. I am going to be so bored, although my cold still hasn't gone 100% so I guess I could use the resting time.
